A Vintage Sculpted by Nature's Precision

The elements of 2010 bestowed a beneficent complexity to the grapes of Saint-Emilion. The season was marked by a dry summer followed by timely rains, leading to an optimal ripening period. This serendipity at La Mondotte's esteemed terroirs has given rise to a wine that entwines finesse with intensity, mirroring the very essence of its vintage.

Upon tasting, one is struck by the regal deep ruby hue—a prelude to a cornucopia of rich fruit notes. A crescendo of blackberry compote and ripe plums dances harmoniously with subtler undertones of graphite and fresh tobacco, reflecting the soil's mineral wealth and judicious oak aging. The palate revels in the foundation of finely-grained tannins, bequeathing longevity and offering immense satisfaction in its current state whilst promising further development over time.

Deep garnet in color, the 2010 La Mondotte has a lifted nose of prunes, baked black cherries and balsamic with touches of spice cake, hoisin and smoked meats. The concentrated, full-bodied palate has compelling freshness, sporting a firm, grainy texture and loads of earthy/savory layers, finishing with epic length.
