Tasted at the Comte Liger-Belair vertical at the Château de Vosne. The 2000 Vosne-Romanée Clos du Château has a light bricking on the rim, commensurate with its age. The nose is fully mature with light, slightly herbaceous but nicely defined fruit with a ferrous edge. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly acetic entry, light and airy in the mouth with some dryness creeping in the finish. I suspect this would have been better several years ago. Tasted June 2015.
