Tasted at the Comte Liger-Belair vertical at the Château de Vosne. The 2010 Vosne-Romanée Clos du Château has a more backward, introspective bouquet compared to the 2009, the fruit a little darker with a light marine influence. The palate is nicely structured with a keen thread of acidity, the tannins a tad grittier in the mouth and white pepper littered over the masculine finish. This might last longer than the 2009 although it will need more bottle age. Tasted June 2015.
