This Grand Cru, under the stewardship of winemaker Laurent Ponsot, encapsulates the intricate dance between human intervention and nature's caprice.

The 2015 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Lavières has a very composed and refined bouquet with raspberry coulis, blackberry leaf and cold stone aromas. I like the precision here. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, sappy red berry fruit, a crisp line of acidity, linear and quite structured with a "correct" finish. Enjoy this Nuits Saint-Georges over the next decade.
