Tasted at the Comte Liger-Belair vertical at the Château de Vosne. The 2007 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Reignots has a more refined and complex bouquet than the 2006: red plum, wild strawberries, heightened mineralité and wonderful delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with raspberry coulis and fresh strawberry on the entry, filigree tannin and wonderfully judged acidity. This feels like the first vintage of Aux Reignots that Louis-Michel really nailed - a beautiful wine that is actually drinking now, but will age over the next couple of decades and more. Tasted June 2015.
