Mugnier served me this 1997 that had been opened for four and a half hours. Deep and sweet, plummy fruits are found in the delightful aromatics of the 1997 Musigny. Candied cherries, jammy plums, and a thick, velvety texture make up this wine's personality. Satiny-textured, yet well-structured, it also proposes a long, well-wrought finish that reveals layers of chocolate and sweet candied fruits. Projected maturity: 2002-2012+.
